  Hays electrical installed solar panels at my home about 5 years ago. On the roof, they initially drilled holes at a location they did not install the panels at and left some holes unsealed and those they tried to seal , were not properly done. Also, areas where the panels are attched to the roof , seal was not properly done as water is also leaking. I have water leaking from roof to attic and then bedroom. I have been calling their office number for over 2 weeks. Out of 10 calls only 2 were answered. They took my info and said someone will get back to me. Nobody did. They have not even tried to send someone to come take a look at the situation. I have had to call 3 different roofing company's who have all pointed to where the leak is coming from. I will update every week this matter goes unresolved. Finally got in touch with their service department manager who did not nother to send someone to investigate the work his company did. He instead told me that my warranty has expired. Bad wormanship has resulted in leaks from holes they created and did not properly seal.

  David from Hays installed my new dishwasher today. He is very polite and professional, did an amazing job with the installation. He even gave me a quick tutorial on how to use my new dishwasher.

  Hays Electrical installed my powerwalls for my electrical system. The communication has been extremely poor - they failed the city inspection and have not returned any calls. They failed to show up for the first appointment to remedy it, and subsequent appointments have not been made in advance. They just call the day of without any prior notice telling me they're 45 minutes out. As of the time of this writing, it has been nearly 2 months with an inability to get this remedied. If you have Hays as a contractor or subcontractor, I would not recommend working with them due to the inability to remedy issues or to effectively communicate with customers.
