  We had a burned-out breaker, so American Electric sent a nice guy out to fix it. He installed a new one. I was happy, so we called back later and asked if they would send someone to replace all the breakers as a preventive measure. We set up a time and nobody showed up. I called to ask what happened and kept getting a voice message. Nobody returned my call. I tried to call back a week or two later and got a voice message again, but the mailbox was full and wasn't accepting messages. So I called Electric Doctor. They responded with a professional guy who informed me that I didn't need to replace all the breakers, but he inspected them and found that the one right next to the other one that had burned out was also not in good shape. He and I were both disappointed the American Electric guy had not checked it. It might have saved me some time and money. So from now on, American will not be getting any calls from me, and since your mailbox is full, this is the only message I can send - a Google review.

  I have used their services in the past with no issues. I recently called to schedule a tech to install an exhaust fan and was told they would call to schedule once it is assigned a technician. A month passes and I never hear anything. I called back to see what was going on and had to leave a message. It has now been 2 weeks since I left the message with no call back at all. I have already moved forward with another company that answers my calls and shows up to their appointments.

  Had Chris come out and help us on short notice with an electrical issue and could not have had a better experience. He was kind, explained the issue, and was right on time to his scheduled appointment. American Electric is reasonably priced to other competitors in the Quad Cities and after the experience today will only be using them in the future. Thank you again to Chris and his team!

  I would like to highly recommend American Electric - they go above and beyond with their service calls always on time, fix the issues. And very knowledgeable and so relatable when explaining the issues. Highly recommend calling them for all your electrical needs Jeff Daniel’s is amazing!

  HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! Great company to work with !!! Can't say enough good things about them!!! Totally professional, unlike the others we contacted for estimates. We set up an appointment for an estimate, estimator was on time!!! We received the estimate in writing (by email) the next day. (received verbal estimate from others) We set an appointment to have the work done and work was completed on time! Great communication from their Operations Manger Eric Collins - he was great to work with!!! He sent 2 guys to complete the work faster...really appreciated that. would HIGHLY RECOMMEND them - They were so prompt and took the stress out of trying to find an electrician for the job!!! Thank you so much!
