  We hired Ryan to replace a pair of two-story-tall posts on our front porch which we discovered had gone rotten at the base. His work was great, plus when we ran into issues later with some of the materials he offered to make it right, which we greatly appreciate. The completed work looks great and Ryan was easy to work with and was always responsive.

  Ryan and his apprentice did a great job on my front porch! He responded to my first phone call, came to assess the job within a day and gave an estimate. He was responsive to my request to have it done ASAP. (A previously booked carpenter backed out on me.) He arrived on time on the day he'd promised and they worked for nine hours on it, with only a brief lunch break! The hope was to get it done in one day, and they did! (I had the wood stained and ready to cut, but there was still A LOT to do.) They worked quickly yet didn't 'cut corners'. They were very conscientious, took care not to damage surrounding structures, and cleaned up the work area when done. He pays great attention to detail, was very skilled and experienced. I am beyond happy with the finished product. (We had him re-wrap the white, painted pillars with stained wood, apply a decorative piece at top and base, and install a railing on one end, anchoring it to the cement slab, and replace a downspout.) He returned a few days later, which allowed me time to fill nail holes and put on one more coat of sealant before he applied the caulk-type product to seal seams at the base, to prevent rain seeping in over time. I would highly recommend Ryan for finish- carpentry work, and I'm sure he'd do a great job at whatever job he promised to do.
