  We got quotes from a few foundation companies before going with Basement Rehab, and they were the only ones who correctly identified what was actually going on with our house. One company wanted to waterproof to fix our bowing walls (which doesn't address the structural issue), and another wanted to drive piers into the ground below our old block foundation (driving piers into brittle block?!). Basement Rehab also caught that we needed a support beam below our fireplace that had been removed at some point, which was the cause of the cracking we were seeing around the chimney. On top of getting the right solutions, they were great to work with. We had to push the project back about a year before we could start, and they were flexible and patient with us the whole time. Sonia was easy to communicate with throughout. When the crew finally came out, they were respectful of our house, worked efficiently, and didn't need any babysitting to get the job done well. Highly recommend.

  From the first call to the last shovel of dirt, our experience with Basement Rehab was positive. We found out that we needed a repair on our foundation during a house sale, and Sonja came out immediately to give us a quote. Within 2 weeks from first panicked call, the repair was finished! The workers endured yucky weather including cold rain and snow showers. They laughed while they worked, were very attentive to my requests and were respectful of the rest of our property. This included making sure the rain water did not drain back into the foundation while it was open, and covering the dug out wall with a tarp to limit snow and water infiltration into our living space. I will be recommending them to anyone I know that might need their services. To be fair, the quality of their work will only be manifest over the years, but the company went above and beyond the required code for our county.
