  I can't say enough good things about Austin and his team at Corridor Building & Remodeling. He literally saved my project after I had to recover from other businesses that way over promised and under delivered. Austin is highly skilled, meticulous, honest, and cares deeply about making sure the job is done right, and will stand the test of time. He and his team are super reliable, and awesome to work with. Austin's company took on a huge project, installing new windows everywhere and exterior doors (including a super heavy bay window), completing a kitchen remodel that had been left a mess by a previous company, smoothing out and painting popcorn ceilings, installing baseboards and trim, etc, etc. Austin was happy to finish off a huge list of tasks that I had, and was very fairly priced. I give him my very highest recommendation. You will be very pleased with the hard work and results he provides. Take a look at a few before and after photos to see some of his work.

  Corridor Building & Remodeling are a life & house savior! I had to hire a 3rd contractor, Austin Ross, which luckily is a part of the professional team at Corridor Building & Remodeling. I hired Austin to come in and repair unfinished & incomplete work done by Franklyn Valeril, a general contractor for Lion Painting in Coralville. Please see attached pictures. Austin and his team had a job cut out for them and had to address Franklyn’s unprofessional poor quality work. Here’s the scene: I had to move out of state quickly. The plan was for Franklyn to come in and do his projects after my belongings were out of the way, which happened on a Friday and I flew out that next Saturday. Then Franklyn was supposed to get back to his job on Sunday but he didn’t come back in until Wednesday May 10th. Not only did Franklyn not complete his work, he altered his photos to make his job look better than what it was. When my Realitor came in , he was absolutely shocked & noted that the work done by Lion Painting definitely would come up in a buyer's inspection. Not only that, all the projects he did were eyesores! I had to hire a 2nd crew to re do his painting & clean up all the spackling overspray & texture mess. But the major problems that my realtor noticed, first it was the backsplash . Franklyn only added a row at the top of the backsplash & didn't finish the top row. There was still about 1.5 inches of wall showing between the row he added and the cabinets. He should have added another half row. The worst parts of the backsplash, lights, & baseboard trim attempted by Franklyn that Austin confidently repaired are the following : 1. gout that was sloppy & not done properly. 2. tiles that didn’t match the existing tile in the style, color, edges, & etc. 3. under the cabinets lights were still loosely hanging down. The wires hung down creating a fire hazard. 4. dinning room baseboards that were incorrectly sealed and also did not match. You’ll see Franklyn’s poor craftsmanship in the first 6 pictures. Then you’ll see Austin’s superb product & superior workmanship in the last 10 pictures !!! He did that in only 2 days and he even went above and beyond to clean up after Franklyn ! Austin came through for us and lived up to his word! I give Corridor Building & Remodeling a 10 star rating & an A++!!!! What a stress reliever!!! I’m eternally grateful!!

  Hired Austin and his team to build us a fenced in area for our chickens. They did a great job and kept everything clean and very professional. I would recommend him and his team to anyone.

  The guys just finished replacing 2 windows in our bathroom and did an EXCELLENT job, top notch. They arrived on time, they completed the job in a timely fashion and cleaned up after the work! I would HIGHLY recommend Austin and his crew!

  I highly recommend this contractor. He installed all our basement interior doors, did the trim work around the doors and windows, and installed a bathroom vanity and bar cabinets. He also fixed a poorly installed exterior door from a previous contractor that I hired. He’s professional, flexible, and delivers excellent craftsmanship.
