  We live on a farm about 75 miles from Home Fires Incorporated. I emailed them about the distance it would take their tech to drive out here and they stated it wouldn't be a problem! I had to postpone the first appointment I had with them due to an appointment with cardiology and Home Fires was very understanding about it. Communication with these folks was A+, the tech came prepared and knew what he was doing. Our gas fireplace is like new again and for a very fair price! These people are fantastic!

  Very happy with how they handled the repairs to our chimney and with the gas log fireplace they installed. They made a careful inspection, did a thorough job, cleaned up afterward, and charged a fair price. Will gladly make use of their services in the future.

  The fireplace works great and looks great. I originally agreed to have the fireplace replaced because Kelly said that she could cut around the old one and not have to remove the stone (which was from floor to ceiling). The stone on the bottom half of the mantle ended up having to be removed in order to get the old one out and the new one in. The stone was replaced with something that didn't even come close to matching, and then we removed all of it (top to bottom) and got something completely different. Kelly and her husband do great work, they have a good work ethic and have integrity. The project cost WAY more than I was planning and took WAY longer than expected.

  We took out our wood burning fireplace and had Home Fires install a new Gas Log. We are loving it! As with many projects such as these, we ran in to a few problems along the way, but Rich and Kelly took care of them and remained very focused on our satisfaction and happiness. Would definitely use them again and recommend them to any of our friends/family.

  These people are a local treasure. Rich really knows what he's doing. He's a very pleasant and honest person, and prices are more than fair. This is a great local business and gets my highest recommendation. (Note that the negative ratings on Google are old and for a former owner/business, not the Harrymans.)
