In 1911, Gullek Johnson graduated from The International Correspondence Schools in Scranton Pennsylvania with a Sheet-Metal Pattern Drafting Degree. Johnson Sheetmetal Shop was located on Washington Ave in Albert Lea, MN. In 1920 Johnson Sheetmetal Shop became a dealer for Lennox Furnace Company located in Marshalltown, IA. Johnson’s was the 15th Lennox dealer in the nation and there currently are over 7,000 dealers worldwide. With the progression of gas fired furnaces and refrigeration air conditioners Johnson Sheetmetal Shop then transitioned into Johnson Heating & Air Conditioning.
