I grew up in Winterset, Iowa, and have been around construction my entire life. My father, Randy Jordan, was the owner of Jordan Construction, where he built homes in addition to other construction projects over the span of 35 years. I worked with him on various projects growing up and during my summers throughout school. I graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2006 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management. Following graduation, I worked in the Fire Sprinkler industry for 10 years as a Designer and Design Manager. While grateful for those experiences, I was ultimately drawn back to my roots with a passion for home building and construction. I feel this unique combination of experiences sets me apart from the competition, with a wealth of knowledge in construction and an eye for plan drawing and design. I am thankful for my dad, who has mentored me in getting Jordan Building & Design off the ground and continues to work with me as a frame and trip carpenter, and integral liaison. I’d be happy to show you my home as an example of the type of work Jordan & Building Design LLC is proud to produce!

    This is my parents house that is a little over 2 years old, built by Dusty Jordan. It started leaking shortly after they moved in but my father was going through health issues and it wasn’t a priority. Another area is leaking as well. It’s pretty sad my parents would rather have me find someone that does better quality work than to go back to the original builder because the quality is not there.
