Replaced our old water heater with an upgraded power vent water heater with water leak detection and gas/carbon monoxide detector. Text and phone call to let us know they were on the way. Walked us through the install process and got to work. Will and Dylan worked the install. They were very nice with great customer service. Installed everything and then walked us through asked if we had any questions or concerns. Completely cleaned the area before leaving. Great guys. The team at Kalins were professional from the quote, to schedule, to install, and clean up. Highly recommend Will and Dylan for your water heater work.

We had a great experience with our new water heater installation. The team was friendly, respectful, and easy to work with. They even asked ahead of time if they could bring a couple extra people along for training, which I thought was really great to see. Jeremy V. and Jeremy S. did a great job explaining to those training. Brady, Mikah, and Ivan left the area cleaner than when they started, carefully leak-tested everything, and installed a device that will alert me if there’s ever a water leak, which gives me a lot of peace of mind. They also took the time to explain how everything works and made sure I understood it all before they left. Overall a really positive experience and great service. I’d definitely recommend them to anyone!

Based just off of the installation process. It was smooth and easy. Danny was very courteous and professional. Now if everything works great it will truly be a five star review. TBD

Decided on Kalins after getting 5 estimates (over the phone) for a 50 gallon hot water heater replacement. I appreciated being put in touch with a knowledgeable technician rather than dealing with a salesperson. They fit us in within a day. From start to finish they underscored commitment to quality. They clearly delivered on that commitment. Rick and Brady installed the new unit. They wore booties and used drop cloths from the front door to the utility room to protect flooring and a rubber boot around the old unit to avoid spills. Rick reviewed the installation with me and answered all my questions. No surprise costs. Some finishing touches that impressed me was bracketing the new expansion tank to the wall, a drain pan with pipe to floor drain, moisture sensor and carbon monoxide/ explosive gas detector. The way they leveled the new unit was much more pleasing than leveling of the original unit.

I was disappointed initially with setting up the appointment. The appointment was not communicated correctly internally and I was disappointed. Then, they somehow assumed we set another appointment a week later and the man called to confirm the appointment we never set. I allowed him to come because I still needed the work done. He was a very nice man who did a great job. I am glad he was able to accomplish what we wanted to do. Kalin’s is good and trustworthy but the communication upfront was messed up twice.
