  We had a tram installed by Les Simpson in September 2023. We paid him the full price that he had quoted us and just received our engineering from the office to bring our tram into compliance with our insurance company and the county - this was originally a hold up, but they were able to remedy the situation. Les also stopped by our cabin to repair the tram with his crew. We had a chain break and the speed break was locked out. Les and his crew were able to quickly identify the issue and fix it. I spoke with Les today and they will be putting on an additional sensor that will stop the tram immediately if any slack in the cable is detected. Because our tram is lower and has a section that is dug out of the hillside, rocks will routinely fall into the track section and the tram can get stuck from time to time causing slack in the cable. Les has assured me this new sensor switch will fix the issue and prevent cable slack and the tram motor not detecting the issue. I look forward to having a good relationship with LST going forward and am grateful they fixed my issue. Les has been great to us so far.

  This company installed a new tram at our lake home in May of 2022. It worked for a couple of weeks but has been down for two (2) weeks and counting. I've called, texted, and e-mailed and as of today 7/6/2022, no reply and no date to repair. $50K invested in total and its a failure. I've talked to their competitors to get them to come and fix. Competitors won't touch it and all said they were not surprised once I told them who installed the system. I'd suggest looking elsewhere as my experience has been BAD.

  Terrible customer service & support. We paid 23K for our Lakeshore Tram. We depend on this tram to get from the street to our home. My husband is handy & wanted some tech support to troubleshoot the tram because it stopped working. They didn’t offer any tech support only saying we would need to purchase a newer model. They have stopped responding to calls & emails. As I said, terrible customer support.

  This is the WORST COMPANY. I have ever dealt with. Terrible customer service. The tram doesn't work half the time the other half your trying to get them up here to fix the problem and will charge u so much. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY..

  Very poor customer service. When I spoke to the owner (Les Simpson) he just made a joke about it. I ended up replacing the controller (drive) and reprogramming it myself. Works great now.
