  I’ve had so many unfortunate situations with the WIC staff. It sucks that they are hired to help and provide support for the littles and instead they treat the people like they don’t matter. I will say the front desk girls are always so helpful and sweet. Also when there is staff there from Ames everything goes smoothly and they are so professional and very helpful. The back staff has left a sour ráyate in my mouth and it’s sad to see that a program that was developed for families with little children have no compassion or professionalism whatsoever. Sad !

  I am so grateful for the help that MICA gave me and my family as I was learning how to be a new mom. My son loved the in-home visits, and I loved having extra minds & hearts to help me get through mom struggles. MICA also helped my son get Early Intervention Speech Therapy and set up on an IEP. We were so sad when he aged out of the program, but I am happy that it is available to families in Rural Iowa.
