  Seems to be a trend in the quad cities. I was born there and have recently bought a house back there. Finding contractors to even give bids is very hard. I called this company which is down the street from the home I purchased. Took 2 weeks to call me back. The other company never called back. He gave me a verbal bid for half the work I requested. Which wasn't bad but when I requested a big for everything in wanted he said he would submit written bid. 2 weeks later still no bid. I have run into this with brick companies as well. I had no idea the contractors in n iowa were so flag with work they can't even give bids. I'm an hvac contractor. And I've never taken more than 2 days to give bids. Apparently I will need to find contractors outside of the quad cord to do work. I am very disappointed

  I called Joe after having a bad experience with a drywall installer. Joe came and looked at it and was completely honest. Said he could fix it and make it look better than it was. His work far exceeded what i expected him to be able to do. I only wish he would have been my first call.

  Joe did am amazing job helping us finish a repair job on our ceilings and walls in our living room after we had a leak. Offered a reasonable price the day he came to take a look and was able to work on it within a few days. He helped move the furniture and hang up curtains when he finished Very good house guest helping clean up when he was done. Thank you so much Joe! Plan on calling Amato next time we start a project! Highly recommend!

  Could not have asked for a better job. The bathroom shower and kitchen ceiling projects were exceptionally done. If we have any future drywall or plastering needs we will calling Joe.

  I don’t often leave reviews but Joe did a great job! I had some big holes left in my ceiling and wall after plumbing was fixed. I reached out to Joe and he offered to come the next day (Saturday) he made it work around my schedule and was very fast and thorough and didn’t leave any mess! He quoted me a reasonable price and when finished offered me an even better one! Will call him again any time I need work done.
