B.K. Flooring was originally BK Tile and was founded in the home of Bob Klein in Gilbertville, IA, in 1989. Soon, his eye for detail, and an exceptional reputation of leaving clients homes beautiful and clean rocketed this one-man operation into a full-blown flooring business. After about 12 years of operating out of small-town Gilbertville, in 2002, Bob and company decided to move to Main St in Cedar Falls. An old run-down pet shop was purchased and Bob and crew turned the old pet store into a new beautiful flooring shop. Through the years, Bob’s next of kin have jumped on board and have continued the tradition of upholding the level of quality passed down from Bob, and even brought in a new passion for flooring.
