  I have lived in my new Grace Allen home for a year and I am more than happy with the quality and craftsmanship. I had a great experience working with Mike and Mary to customize my home to meet my wants and needs. I still walk in sometimes and can’t believe this is MY HOME! Mike is not a builder who disappears after a few trips to the building site. He was involved from the first dig until I closed. He found items in our walk thrus that did not meet his expectations and all were corrected. I was very impressed with his expectations of his crew. I believed he was building my home as if it was his… Mary was an absolute god send when it came to paperwork and design. I could not have picked out all my options without her…it would have been overwhelming. She has excellent design experience and was so patient and compassionate about helping me through this process. Since closing the customer service has continued. Anytime I had a question or concern they are always responsive and very timely. I am so happy I went with Grace Allen Homes. I have the most beautiful home on the block! I have had neighbors and strangers walk by and are in awe of my home. I have recommended Grace Allen homes to several people and will continue to encourage any one that is thinking of building to contact them for a consultation.

  I can’t imagine a better home building experience. Mike and Mary were awesome to work with. They answered all our questions and were personable and easy to deal with. From our first meeting on, we always felt they wanted to create a home that we would be happy with. They truly go above and beyond.

  My family purchased a home from Grace Allen Homes earlier this year and we couldn't be more happy with our experience. Mike and Mary were phenomenal to work with. We were in a hurry to close and they did everything on their end to make it happen. We are also extremely satisfied with the home they built. The attention to detail and quality of the home was very apparent as soon as we walked into the home. After living in the home for 6 + months, we can still say we would highly recommend Grace Allen Homes for anyone looking to buy or build a new home in the Des Moines area.

  My husband and I stumbled upon Grace Allen Homes while attending various open houses on a Sunday afternoon – and we are sure glad we did!!! While touring the open house being hosted by Grace Allen Homes, we got to meet Mike Foust and Mary Davis. Mike, the owner, was able to point out all the important details and key features of their build that makes it unique. We were blown away by the craftsmanship detail and aesthetic of the home. Mary, the realtor and interior design specialist, was able to inform us about the build process and get us started on our next adventure. When building a house, there are so many details that go into play – between the structural aspect, down to the decision of bathroom towel accessories – Mike and Mary walked us through it all. We were able to meet with both Mike and Mary to dive into the blueprints to make them exactly how we envisioned. Mike’s expertise with structural, foundational, and functional details helped us learn the why and how behind every detail – something that most builders wouldn’t take the time to discuss with clients. Later, we had a selections meeting with Mary where we chose every design detail. Her knowledge on design trends/color pallets, artistic vision, and detail-oriented skills made our selections process go so smoothly. She has an ability to give her opinion without persuading our decisions, which is hard to come by. Throughout the whole building journey, Mike and Mary were in constant communication with us. Between keeping us updated on what step was next, letting us know timelines for progress, and allowing us to address any modifications during the build – they made us feel comfortable to contact them at any time. Mike and Mary have been nothing but exceptional to work with! We would recommend Grace Allen Homes to anyone who is looking to build. They go above and beyond to focus on the clients’ wants and desires for a home. They couldn’t have made our building adventure more enjoyable!
