  One of the slowest, unreliable, and most lackluster companies I've ever been subjected to. Streets in my neighborhood have been closed for three years with constant pushbacks in the completion date. Watched their employees just standing around or doing menial pointless tasks like driving a front end loader with its bucket up back and forth. Now my road is paved but they still won't reopen it to traffic. Whatever your doing in the West A area hurry up, be done, and get out already!

  Poorly managed work on 168th street between Center and Q. Cones have been put up for 3 months blocking full lanes on both sides causing consistent traffic congestion and dangerous conditions with little to no work being performed. The project was supposed to be finished almost a year ago. They worked hard until the deadline for their bonus passed. Now they are slow rolling it until the date when fines start to kick in. Work is being done extremely slowly at the companies convenience without consideration for the public. Who knows if the miss management is on Hawkins side or the goverment side. Either way the cones weren't needed for the last 3 months. Also, nice work on fire hydant in the middle of the sidewalk and welding galvanized railing then spray painting over the welds. I am sure that will hold up #cuttingcorners

  I am thankful my husband has had many opportunities to grow within the company but I am grateful he hasn’t had to give up his family life for his career. Hawkins understand family. Those values are hard to find these days. So if you’re looking to maintain both these lifestyles... Hawkins would be a good start.
