About Hussong Manufacturing Company INC DBA Kozy Heat Gallery

From kozyheat.com

Kozy Heat Fireplaces is a manufacturer of gas and electric products proudly located in Lakefield, MN.

The story of Kozy Heat begins in 1976, in a small millwork shop in southern Minnesota. Dudley Hussong, the founder, and now Chairman of the Board, set out to solve a simple problem: how to heat a workspace more efficiently during the fuel embargo. The solution he built from metal and ingenuity sparked something far greater than he imagined. Word spread, neighbors took notice, and what began as one fireplace became two, then many more. Within two years, Kozy Heat fireplaces were selling throughout Minnesota, carried by the reputation they earned one home at a time.
