  Can't get a call or email back re a quote. Heard good things about them from someone, (although the person that gave me a positive review had never done business with them). If you are too busy, just say so in a quick call or email. They may do good work, but I'll never know. Would have give a good review or no review if they simply would have gotten back with me.

  The pricing proposal was prepared in a timely manner and communication with Hunter was strong throughout the process. The work was quality, completed in the window of time estimated and care was taken not to impact the business that was being painted. Would recommend to others most certainly.

  Just hired J.C Toland for completing the drywall in my basement. I hung it. Hired them to work their magic with the mud. They ended up contracting the work out to Luna Drywall. Both companies were great to work with. Zach Huntley at J.C. Toland was was a great rep to work with. Very professional and was able to work us in on a tight schedule. Luna Drywall was phenomenal!! Their guys showed up on time everyday and just got it done. They were respectful of the home and did everything they could to protect my floors where needed. They even covered up the carpet on my stairs even though I told them it was getting replaced when we put the new carpet throughout the basement. I strongly suggest giving either company a call to get your painting or drywall project done! Jake Lane West Des Moines

  JC Toland painted 3 medical carts that were starting to rust for our company. They assured me that they would, "Sand to prep rust, prime rust areas, and apply 2 coats of finish." They looked great at first! But after about 6 months the rust started to come in even worse! I contacted the company to ask them to redo it properly. They said that they would but I would have to deliver the carts (the first time they picked up), I agreed. After several weeks I still had not heard from them when I should drop them off so I asked again when would be a good time. The last message I received from them was 4 months ago, " Our booth is packed at the moment, let me see when some room will be freed up and get back with you." This was a complete waste of $1,400 and time!

  We worked with JC Toland for drywall and painting. We had a bathroom shower surround and tub replaced. This required drywall repair around the new surround and paint. JC Toland completed all of the drywall repair, texture repair on the wall and ceilings, as well as painting the entire bathroom. Painting involved a protective base coat as well as multiple coats of the final paint on walls, ceiling, and skylight. Working with the Project Manager, Zach, went very smoothly. There were a few back and forths where Zach provided excellent suggestions to help us come up with the plan of action. Zach acted very professionally, direct, and down to earth. We were provided an estimate that very closely matched the final invoice. Both of the workers we had were professional and respectful. They arrived on time each day as scheduled, kept the mess to the work area, removed shoes when the weather was messy, were very friendly, and easy to speak with about what needed to be completed. The work was very well done and was completed within the original time and budget estimate.
