I had an extremely poor experience. I had initially contacted Overhead Door to come and inspect my garage door after a note on a home inspection. No one showed up at my 9am appointment. I tried calling multiple times and did not get an answer and was unable to leave a voicemail due to a full mailbox. When I did finally get ahold of someone, they said a tech would be out at 2pm. A service tech from Klatt Equipment showed up. He inspected the door and wrote a report saying it was safe and operational and told me (though he now denies it) there was no charge for the visit. This was September 12. I have had no further contact with this company until I had to call them today, October 4, to get something saying that I didn't owe them any money and a lien waiver. The story had of course changed and the people I spoke to (Arnold Nagellare and whoever answers the phone) were extremely rude and said that there was in fact now a service charge. I repeatedly asked why I wasn't presented a bill or indication that an invoice was coming at the time of service, but they couldn't answer that. I said that of course I would have paid at the time of service had I been presented with a bill! That's how my work is being done with my electrician and plumber!! I will never do business with a company that is so inconsistent and dishonest, not to mention rude. Now I understand why a lien waiver is important, because companies like this apparently think they have all the time in the world to bill you in the future for whatever they feel like, whenever they feel like showing up.

Ive had my loading docks serviced and my overhead doors replaced from Klatt equipment, the service was good and quick. I got 4 different quotes for doors to choose from and was very happy with all the work. I will call them again.
