Major Drain worked on a water main leak at a flared union buried 12 feet underground and 3 feet from the house. Dayton patiently answered all my questions prior to the scheduled date. The crew showed up on time, Dan and Dayton reassessed what the project would entail, and went with the least invasive option, which was less costly than what I was quoted. I was very impressed with how considerate they were of causing the least amount of damage to the house. They were very mindful of the landscaping protecting it with plywood, which made returning things back to their original state very easy. The crew was polite and worked tirelessly even though the temperature dropped to 22 degrees throughout the morning. Sergio was incredibly skilled with the excavator and everyone appeared to know what they were doing. The people I spoke with at the office were always pleasant and professional. My experience was very positive; I would certainly contact them again.

I reviewed this company two weeks ago. If you read the response they left to my original review, you'll see just how unprofessional they were. Yesterday, I discovered water on my basement floor after flushing the upstairs toilet. I wasn't sure where it was coming from, so I called Major Drain and left a message. They returned my call today and told me a supervisor would call me back. No one ever called me back. Since I needed the issue addressed, I contacted Omaha Drain. They came out right away and began troubleshooting the problem. After flushing the upstairs toilet and running the kitchen sink, they quickly identified the cause: Major Drain had failed to reconnect the condensate drain line after performing their work. As a result, every time the air conditioner removed humidity from the air, the water traveled through the condensate line and spilled onto my basement floor instead of draining properly. This was a simple but significant oversight that caused unnecessary concern and could have resulted in property damage. Finding the condensate hose sitting beside the drain pipe is not what I would consider acceptable workmanship. To Omaha Drain's credit, they identified the problem immediately and didn't even charge me for the inspection or diagnosis. Based on both the sloppy workmanship and the unprofessional response to my previous review, I cannot recommend Major Drain. On the other hand, Omaha Drain was responsive, professional, honest, and helpful. They have earned my future business and my recommendation. Update: Your response speaks volumes about your professionalism! Referring to a customer as a "Karen" is disrespectful, juvenile, and demonstrates a concerning lack of maturity, especially from a business owner who should be representing their company professionally. For the record, I never asked for a refund. I simply pointed out an issue that I believed could become a problem, and, as it turned out, it did. Water cleanup is not something that should be dismissed as a "minor thing." While I agree that mistakes happen, what separates a reputable company from the rest is how they respond when those mistakes occur. Accountability, communication, and professionalism matter! Instead of addressing the concern and acknowledging the issue, you chose to attack me personally. That approach does not inspire confidence in your company or its commitment to customer service. Customers have every right to express concerns about work performed in their home. A professional business welcomes feedback, investigates issues, and takes responsibility when appropriate. Resorting to name-calling only reinforces the concerns that were raised in the first place.

I am so thankful for the reviews that led me to call Major Drain when my basement flooded from a sewer back up. It was a Sunday and I was very pleasantly surprised when the call was answered immediately and I was told that someone would be there within the hour. 45 minutes later Jake was at my door. Twice he snaked the line to no success, so he called Trent who came with a camera. Apparently, the line had a break at the end of my driveway. Three days later a crew came for the excavation and repair and set to work. I highly recommend this company. Every person I met was courteous, informative and patient when I kept peering over their shoulders. They constantly updated me on what was going on and when they left they did a great job of cleaning up the site. 5 stars isn't enough.

Major Drain was fantastic! They showed up the same day we called to clear our main sewer line, which we really appreciated. They pulled a significant amount of tree roots out, completely cleared the line, and cleaned everything up afterward. Everyone we dealt with was very friendly and professional. They worked quickly and efficiently without trying to drag out the job or use more time than necessary, which I really appreciated because it kept the cost down. Great service, great people, and very fair about their time and pricing. I would definitely recommend Major Drain!

I wanted to mention that Major Drain had been recommended to me by a family member; I was not disappointed. In fact, when it looked like I would have to layout some major cash after my home buyers did a sewer line inspection, it turned out that the line just needed cleaning, which Major Drain did quickly and efficiently--and honestly. I think some other companies might have said, "Oh, yeah, we gotta replace". It's nice to see there are still some trustworthy companies. I will use Major Drain again if needed.
