  Phillips floors has been around for quite some time in the Indianola Warren County area. I've had the pleasure of knowing Tim for decades and doing a lot of flooring and making him and customers happy. Glad to hear Matt is expanding and doing the same thing that his father done so well. I will always continue to buy my flooring from these guys they have no issues finding the exact flooring you need for no matter what project you have going on. And props to Jeremy Donahue, it's good to have someone knowledgeable in flooring to handle all the communicating needs of customers!

  We had a great experience with Phillips Floors from the entire team. Jeremy in the showroom was very knowledgeable and helpful in choosing our floor. Scheduling was excellent. Kevin and Ron did a wonderful job with installation. My floors are beautiful and they completed the job quickly, cleaned up each day, and kept us well informed of next steps all the way through. Jeremy P. stopped in to make sure things were going well. We recommend Phillips Floors for your remodeling projects.

  We highly recommend Phillips for refinishing hardwood floors in your home. Over several years, they have uncovered & refurbished hardwood in 5 areas of our home. Every time we had an honest quote with good advice, plus professional workers who arrived when expected and worked in an efficient and friendly way. They cared about doing a great job for us. The results are spectacular.

  We hired Phillips' Floors to refinish our existing hardwood floors and replace the carpet in our living room and office with matching wood. Phillips' hardwood specialist, Mike, was extremely helpful throughout the process. His knowledge and experience helped us through the decision-making process. Mike could determine the exact wood to match what already existed in our home. He explained how the coloring of wood changes over time and how stains can look different on new wood vs old wood. He helped us understand everything and set our expectations so there were no surprises. Gail was incredibly communicative and kept us updated on the project as well. The crew that did our flooring did a fantastic job. The transition from the existing hardwood floors to the new hardwood floors they installed is beautiful. We're thrilled with the end result. Everyone we encountered at Phillips' Floors was extremely kind and helpful. (I've posted three before and three after photos to show the quality of their work.)

  Unfortunately I can no longer recommend this company. I had them come out to fix some wrinkling of the carpet they'd put down, some scratched carpet, and replace a piece of vinyl by a door. I had them come out and they said it'd probably be about a half days work - I told them it'd probably be around 2 hours. It was not much work. They proposed for a half day work it would be over $500. I asked for an itemized list so I could understand the cost per job (I asked twice). They refused - said they couldn't do it. I asked how much they charged per hour. I was told $125-150/hr. So if the job ended up being less I'd assumed they would adjust after talking to people over the phone. When the work was done, it was completed in 2 hours, just as I figured. I still got a bill for over $500. That's over $200/hr. And now, about a month later, there is a nail or something sticking through the vinyl. I paid the 75% but haven't paid the rest and won't until this is fixed. I called and they're more concerned with their $125 left over than customer satisfaction. The customer service and install team has really gone down hill and I will no longer recommend to anyone. I should have gone with a handyman or just done the work myself. ----------------------------- (old review) The sales folks at Phillips are super attentive and knowledgeable. Very different from your big box stores. I took my time choosing colors for both vinyl and carpet. I didn't feel rushed when making my decisions and got to take a bunch of samples home to really see how it looks. I ended up with Mannington vinyl and a cloth backed plush carpet for the bedrooms. The installer was awesome as well. He was quick and cleaned up after himself each day, and communicated well with me when he would be back. I've attached some before and after photos of our floors. We couldn't be happier. I plan on going back when we redo our bathrooms as well.
