Tops Unlimited started the same way that most startup companies do, in a garage. We started our company in the late-80s with just one product line, Laminate Countertops. By the time the late 90s came around, we had expanded to our current 22,000 square foot location in Ankeny, Iowa. That's when we began to fabricate acrylic tops (like Corian) and continued our laminate countertop fabrications. In 2007, we again expanded, this time bringing stone ( granite and quartz ) countertops into the fold.
